GLI SCALIGERI/ THE SCALIGER
Nel Medioevo, con l'arrivo dei Barbari, si è dovuta proteggere con mura difensive, ed i primi a costruirne furono gli Scaligeri.
Di famiglia ghibellina costruirono i merletti delle mura a V./

I VENEZIANI/ THE VENETIANS
Nel periodo Rinascimentalev, divenne una città sotto il dominio Veneziano, e per questa ragione troverete delle statue di Leoni alati in città. Le mura furono rinforzate dall'architetto Sammicheli che costruì i Bastioni sulla mura scaligere/ In the Renaissance period, Verona became a city under the Venetian control, and for this reason you will find statues of winged Leons in the city. The walls were reinforced by the architect Sammicheli who built the Bastions over the old walls.

Successivamente passò sotto il dominio austriaco, vennero potenziate ancora di più le mura e costruiti tanti forti.
