LA TOMBA DI GIULIETTA
La tomba di Giulietta è ospitata nella cripta di quello che un tempo fu l’antico monastero di San Francesco al Corso. Il sarcofago rosso del XVI secolo, presso cui la leggenda vuole fosse sepolta la giovano Capuleti, accoglie ogni anno migliaia di turisti romantici provenienti da tutto il mondo, dopo aver affascinato, nel passato, anche illustri visitatori come Maria Luisa d’Austria, Charles Dickens, Heinrich Heine e George Byron.
JULIET'S TOMB
Jiuliet’s tomb is hosted in the crypt of the ancient monastery of Saint Francesco al Corso. The red marble sarcophagus dating from the XVIth century, where according to the legend of Juliet was buried, is visited every year by thousands of romantic tourists from all over the world, and in the past it was visited by famous person such as Maria Luisa of Austria, Charles Dickens, Heinrich Heine and George Byron.
